Communication

From time to time, I receive calls from prospective clients looking to switch attorneys. More often than not, the primary concern they have with their current attorney comes down to poor communication. A client has a right to expect prompt, honest, effective communication with his or her attorney. If you are not receiving good communication, my advice is to call that out and set ground rules. If you cannot reach an acceptable protocol for communication, then it may be time to switch counsel.
