Connecting

This week I had the pleasure of meeting a new client in person. There was a time when that statement would sound ludicrous. But that time has long since passed. By virtue of technology, and with a lot of help from the Covid pandemic, it has become commonplace for new clients to consult with me over the phone, or in a Zoom meeting. It has become far less common to actually meet in person. There is really no substitute for an in person meeting – meeting with no distractions, developing a real rapport and getting a feel for each others’ energy. It is not always possible to meet in person, and new technology is terrific for those occasions. But I believe we should all make an effort to meet in person when it is possible to do so.
